Bulgarian Hot Carrot pepper

An heirloom from Bulgaria called Shipkas. The 3 to 4 inch bright orange beauties are quite hot but with a fruitiness to the pungency that makes them delicious for chutneys, marinades, pickles and salsas. The colour is great for hot pepper jelly. Plants are 18” tall. Fruits grow in big clusters close to the main stem.
