Cool season herb with ferny, dark green foliage, looking like parsley and having a pleasant anise flavour. Excellent raw in salads. An important herb in French cuisine in egg dishes, fish and sauces or a wonderful addition to herbed vinaigrettes. Makes best crop in spring and fall but does well even in the summer in the cool Pacific Northwest. Shade tolerant. 12” tall. Self sows readily.
