Elly's Dutch spinach
Elly brought this large leaf winter spinach to us in 1999 from a biodynamic farm in Holland. It has broad arrow-shaped leaves and is very productive. It is vigorous and hardy and preferred to all other kinds for spring sowings. Sow in early spring, in some years as early as February, into rich soil in rows 12” apart using succession sowings every 2 weeks.
