Golden yellow thistle-like flowers are 3 inches across. Hardy plant is for background borders or fresh and dried cut flower. Direct seed in spring in a sunny location in well-drained soils that are not too rich. Easy to grow. The plant forms clumps three to four feet high. Perennial.
This flower keeps well after being cut.
